“I have danced with Scoil Rince Fionn for 11 years. In that time I have had amazing opportunities and experiences and made life long friends. From getting a medal at my first feis to most recently achieving an All Ireland medal it has been down to the encouragement and hard work from Fionnuala. But it is not all about the medals, it’s about the fun in class, the friendships, the exhibitions at various events and travelling to many places in Ireland and beyond. Fionnuala has taught me discipline, commitment and how I don’t always have to be the best to be successful. I will always feel a part of Scoil Rince Fionn and can’t thank Fionnuala enough for the opportunities she has afforded me over the years. ”

“My two daughters attend Scoil Rince Fionn for dancing classes and Jump and Jig. My eldest has been dancing with Fionnuala for over a year now. She absolutely loves the classes and has made great progress with her dancing. My youngest attends Jump & Jig, looks forward to class and describes Fionnuala as the ”dancing girl.” Despite only being 2 years old we can already see her using her ”good toes.” Fionnuala is so approachable, she makes the classes fun and the girls adore her. ”

“Hi, I’m Aveen. I’ve been dancing for 11 years now. It all started at a Eire Og funday and I was there to see my friends dance, when I saw them dance instantly and thought that that’s what I want to do. So at 4 and a half I started to learn my jump 2 3s and straight away I fell in love with Irish dancing. I can’t really remember much from them days but when I got my first trophy I felt like I had won an Oscar. With dancing I have made so many memories like winning the Europeans in Spain and I have travelled all over the country and stayed in over 1000 hotels. I have had many ups and downs in dancing but I have stuck at it and it was such a good decision. I have also got a new auntie Fionnuala who has done everything for me and has always been there for me and granny Moya the craziest and funniest woman on this earth.”

“Keen to get my little girl enrolled into Irish dancing at a young age jump’n jig has been the perfect programme to get her started. Emmie looks forward to her class every week where she develops fundamental skills such as coordination and social skills through music and dance. Fionnuala is fantastic as she engages and encourages each child while keeping it fun and age appropriate.”

“I would 100% recommend jump and jig taught by Fionnuala, my daughter absolutely loves the interactions with other kids following instructions and learning the basic skills as she is only 3. Very welcoming environment friendly and approachable. As with covid all social distancing measures are in place as well as sanitation when you come in. I think I speak for all parents when the Kids attend they adore Fionnuala it’s lots of fun for them even when they are learning. Sticker chart of attendance, use of musical instruments to help them establish the rhythm of the music. Fionnuala is a wonderful teacher of Irish Dance the smiles on my daughters face really reflects that. ”
